Who is Mikee Quintos?

Mikee Quintos is a 24-year-old Filipino singer, songwriter and actress. She became popular as one of the finalists in the second season of The Voice Kids Philippines in 2015. Since then, she has been making waves in the Filipino music scene. She has released singles like “Ligtas”, “Malaya” and “Habang May Buhay”.

Early Life

Quintos was born on June 17, 1996 in Quezon City, Philippines to parents Willard and Melinda Quintos. She was born into a musically inclined family. Her father was a band member of the band “The Sexy Boys” while her mother sang with a church choir. She loves singing, playing the violin and dancing from a very young age.

Music Career

In 2015, at age 19, Quintos auditioned for the second season of The Voice Kids Philippines and she made it to the semi-finals. After her journey at The Voice Kids Philippines, she started gaining popularity in the local music scene. She released her first single “Ligtas” in 2016 followed by “Malaya” in 2017 and “Habang May Buhay” in 2018.

Acting Career

In 2017, Quintos made her acting debut with a role in the Philippine drama series Haplos. In 2018, she joined the cast of Bagani as Ganda/Mayari playing one of the main characters. Currently, she stars as Selina in the Philippine drama series Kadenang Ginto.

Awards and Accolades

Quintos has won several awards throughout her career including Best New Female Artist at the MYX Music Awards 2016 and Favorite New Artist at the MOR Pinoy Music Awards 2016. In 2018, she won Best Performance by an Actress at the Golden Screen TV Awards for her role in Bagani.
