Mirror People comes from the imagery of Rui Maia during a tour in the US. A project that put together electronic sound influences from the 1970s with current dance music. After releasing some songs in such labels as Permanent Vacation, Discotexas or Future Disco, the debut album “Voyager” comes out in 2015 with such important singles as “I Need Your Love”, “Come Over” or “Dance The Night Away.” In addition to remixes for artists such as Appaloosa, Adamski or Xinobi and well received compilations of edits “Obscure Disco”, EPs “Good Times”, "Drinks Promise Better" (with Da Chick) and "Boogie Dance" (with Hard Ton) were released. With a regular schedule, Mirror People has performed in several major portuguese venues and festivals as well as internationally in London, Paris, Vienna, Cannes, Istanbul and other countries. 2022 marks the return of the Mirror People with new music and a live show. We're getting there!
