Who is Molotof?

Molotof is the stage name of Vítor Gomes, an emerging Portuguese music producer, vocalist, and composer. Born in 1995, he began performing at the age of 25 and has since become one of the country's most promising young artists. His style combines elements of hip-hop, soul, funk, and electronic music, creating a unique sound that has earned him attention from fans and industry professionals alike.

Early Career

Gomes began his career in music by teaching himself how to produce beats on his laptop. After building up a catalogue of music, he began to shop his work around to local labels and eventually caught the attention of independent label Red Bull Music Portugal. In 2020, he released his debut EP “Neo-Realismo” which was met with critical acclaim from fans and critics alike.

Collaborations

Since then, Gomes has collaborated with several other Portuguese artists including Céu and Baco Exu do Blues. He has also performed live shows throughout Portugal as well as in other countries such as France and Spain. In 2021 he released his single “Vou Fugir” featuring rapper Estraca which quickly rose to the top of streaming services.
