Early Life and Career
Nathan Sykes was born on April 18th, 1993 in Gloucester, England. He started singing at the age of 6 and went on to appear in numerous musicals. In 2009, he auditioned for The X Factor but ultimately decided to continue his studies instead. Sykes made his breakthrough as part of the British boy band The Wanted in 2010. The group released three studio albums and achieved immense success worldwide with singles such as “Glad You Came” and “All Time Low”.
Solo Career
In 2014, Sykes announced he was leaving The Wanted to pursue a solo career. His first solo single “Kiss Me Quick” was released in 2015 and peaked at No.21 on the UK Singles Chart.
