Who is Nayer?

Nayer Regalado (born on April 13, 1984) is a Cuban-American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress from Miami, Florida. She was born to Cuban parents who emigrated to the United States in the late 1970s. Nayer released her first single “Take You to Rio” in 2011 and has since released several hit songs including “Suave (Kiss Me)” featuring Pitbull and “Give Me Everything” featuring Ne-Yo and Pitbull. She has collaborated with many notable artists including Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, Mohombi, Wisin & Yandel, and Afrojack.

Career

Nayer began her singing career in 2009 when she was asked to be a background vocalist for Enrique Iglesias. She released her first single “Take You to Rio” in 2011 which was featured on the soundtrack of the animated movie Rio. In 2012 she collaborated with Pitbull on the song “Suave (Kiss Me)” which became a major hit in Latin America and Europe. She then collaborated with Ne-Yo and Pitbull on the song “Give Me Everything” which was an international success. In 2013 she released her debut EP entitled “Famous”. The EP featured the singles “Suave (Kiss Me)” and “Give Me Everything” as well as other tracks such as “Gimme 5” featuring Wisin & Yandel and “Tonight’s The Night” featuring Afrojack.

She has also been nominated for several Billboard Music Awards including Top Latin Song of the Year for her collaboration on Enrique Iglesias' song “I Like It” (2010). In 2012 she was honored with an MTV Video Music Award nomination for Best Choreography in a Video for her performance in the music video for Pitbull's song “Rain Over Me”.

Personal Life

Nayer currently resides in Miami, Florida where she is actively working on new music projects. She is also an advocate for animal rights and works closely with various animal rescue organizations in South Florida. She is an avid yoga practitioner and enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends.
