About Powerman 5000
Powerman 5000 is an American industrial metal band from Boston, Massachusetts. The band was founded in 1991 by lead singer and guitarist Michael Cummings. They released their debut album, The Blood-Splat Rating System, in 1995 and followed it up with two more albums before signing with DreamWorks Records in 1999. Their major label debut, Tonight the Stars Revolt!, spawned several hit singles including “When Worlds Collide” and “Nobody's Real”.

Powerman 5000 has released seven studio albums throughout their career. After signing with DreamWorks Records in 1999, Powerman 5000 released their major label debut album, Tonight the Stars Revolt!. The album was a huge success and spawned several hit singles including “When Worlds Collide” and “Nobody's Real”. The band followed up the success of Tonight the Stars Revolt! with their second major label release, Anyone for Doomsday? in 2001. The album was met with mixed reviews but still managed to chart on the Billboard 200.

Throughout their career, Powerman 5000 has collaborated with various other artists including Rob Zombie and Limp Bizkit. They also collaborated with rapper DMX on the track “X Gon' Give It To Ya” for the soundtrack to the film Cradle 2 the Grave.
