Who is Rytmus?

Rytmus is a Slovak rapper, producer and songwriter from Handlová, Slovakia. His real name is Juraj Vozár and he was born in 1978. He is considered one of the pioneers of the Slovak rap scene. He started his career in 1994 with the group Hip Hop Fabrika. In 2000 he released his first solo album ‘Král’. Since then he has released 6 studio albums and multiple singles and collaborations with other artists.

Rytmus has collaborated with many artists over the years including Ego, Kontrafakt and Separ. He is also an active member of the rap duo Shockwave along with DJ Wich. The duo released their debut album 'Shockwave' in 2003 and have since released several other albums and singles as well as performing live together.

Personal Life

Rytmus is married to model Andrea Verešová and they have two sons together. In 2011 he founded his own record label called Rytmus Records which has signed multiple artists including Ego, Kontrafakt, Separ and more.
