Who is Tensnake?

Tensnake is the stage name of Marco Niemerski, a German-born EDM DJ and producer. He began making music in 1998, releasing his first record, a collaboration with German label Ladomat 2000, in 2004. His most successful track to date is 2010's “Coma Cat” which landed in the UK Top 20. Tensnake has also collaborated with artists such as Dua Lipa, AlunaGeorge, and Fiora. In 2014, he was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album of the Year.

Career

In 2008, Tensnake released his debut album, “In The House”. The album was critically acclaimed and spawned the widely successful single “Coma Cat” and its accompanying remixes. After the success of “Coma Cat”, Tensnake continued to release tracks on labels such as Defected Records and Ministry of Sound. In 2014, he released his sophomore album “Glow” on Virgin Records. The album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album of the Year. Tensnake has since released several singles on various labels including Armada Music and Universal Music Group. He has also had his tracks remixed by artists such as MK and Tchami.

Live Performances

Tensnake has performed at some of the biggest festivals in the world including Coachella, Glastonbury, Electric Daisy Carnival, Electric Zoo, and Tomorrowland. In addition to performing at festivals around the world, he has also held residencies at clubs such as Amnesia Ibiza and Output New York City. He is known for playing a combination of house music, disco classics, and his own original productions.
