Who Is Teoman?

Teoman (Tayfun Özdemir) is a 55-year-old Turkish musician. He is best known as one of the most influential figures in Turkish pop music. Born and raised in Istanbul, he started to play guitar at a young age and began his professional career as a musician in 1985. Since then, he has released many albums and singles that have become popular in Turkey. He has also collaborated with other famous Turkish musicians such as Sinan Akçıl, Serdar Ortaç and Şebnem Ferah. Teoman has earned numerous awards throughout his career, including Best Male Artist Award at the 19th Golden Butterfly Awards in 2013.
