Valerio Lucca, originally from Naples, moved to Caserta at the age of 11 with his family. Only one year later, Valerio leans out for the first time to the world of music, taking piano and guitar classes, even though he didn’t show a particular interest to the tonal music by that time. After some years, he finally discovers his passion for electronic/club music, and this brings him to buy his first turntable strap traction, at the age of 16. Because of various vicissitudes, he leaves for awhile what it was only a hobby for him and he devotes himself to his studies; however, he never abandoned the club life, both in Campania, Italy and Europe. Later on, Valerio begins to organize small parties with some other friends for high school students in Caserta. In a very short time, he becomes part of a well-known parties organization. His strong desire to make music again makes him reapproaching to his beloved turntables at the age of 21. It starts from here his professional path, getting closer and closer to the techno scene, passing through the tech house one. From here, he starts to play in small local clubs untill he gets to play with international Djs in his area but also outside of it: he played several times in different parts of South Italy, besides some important clubs like Old River Park and Mono Club in Caserta, Acadie in Calabria, Fabrik in Palermo (Sicily), untill he gets to play in Rome at the Circolo degli Illuminati, at the after party of the Amore Festival. Finally, Valerio is able to play also outside Italy, at the Sugar Factoy in Amsterdam. The desire to leave a personal mark in the music pushes him to enroll himself in an Academy of Electronic Music and Digital Arts, graduating with the highest grade. Still not satisfied and wishing to get even better, he tries to enter to the historical Conservatory of Naples "San Pietro a Majella", with the major in Electronic Music. He is atteding his last and final year at the moment. Besides his Dj activity, he also explores other musical practices - like improvisation – with the Orchestra Elettroacustrica Officina Arti Soniche (OEOAS) from his music school, playing in some concerts. With the progress of his studies, both his technical and artistic qualities have grown up. An emergent artist with two faces: from one side, a student of Electronic music Composition always looking for new techniques and new musical tendencies, like experimental electronics, elettroacustica, acustmatica; from the other side, a Dj and a producer of club music. A young mind constantly developing the field of musical production and electroacoustic compositions, exploring new sonorities like the glitch ones, and always producing new tracks for clubs, both techno and tech house. Valerio’s first release in the clubbing world came out in March 27th, 2017, a remix called Highland (Valerio Lucca Remix), done for a German artist on the label "PicKig" . Around Christmas time of that year (2017) it came out his first EP with three original mixs: “Check It”, “Voices from the club” and “Don't let go”, on "No Matters Record". The year 2018 had started for him with his releasing “Acid Shake” from varius artists on Beat it Music, released on the 22.01.2018, which has been liked and downloaded by many international djses as Joseph Capriati, Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin and so many others. Valerio never stops producing in the studio, both for the Conservatory and in parallel, if not with more tenacity, for the clubs production. He has scheduled a techno EP in exit by January 2019 on Gryophon Recordings and other two jams ready to be released soon. In July 2021 he ends his career at the San Pietro Majella conservatory in naples, graduating with excellent grades and is about to enter the world of teaching music technologies. During his electronic composition studies he skips a little club music to devote himself to electroacoustic compositions and to teaching musical technologies.
