Who is YERI?
YERI is a South Korean singer-songwriter, musician and member of the girl group Red Velvet. Born Kim Ye-rim on March 5, 1999 in Seoul, South Korea, she was first introduced to the public as a member of SM Rookies in July 2014. She officially debuted as a member of Red Velvet on August 1, 2014 with their debut single “Happiness”.
Career
YERI has been active in the music industry since her debut in 2014. She has co-written several songs for Red Velvet's albums such as “Red Flavor” from their second studio album The Red Summer (2017), “Sappy” from their fourth studio album The ReVe Festival: Day 1 (2019) and “Ladies Night” from their fifth extended play RBB (2018). In 2019, she also collaborated with Wendy of Red Velvet to release a single titled “Return”.
Other Ventures
In addition to her music career, YERI has also ventured into acting. She appeared in the drama series Hello My Twenties! 2 (2017) and the film Because I Love You (2017).
