Layer Caked Records are delighted to welcome Dan & Dan to the label with their 2 track EP "Flight of Icarus". Based in Ibiza & Sheffield the duo are no strangers to the scene with over 20 years experience Djing across The White Island aswell as the UK. Daniel Bumby & Dan Seaman as they are known started collaborating together in 2017. With Dan Bumbys late 80's early 90's influences and Dan Seamans more progressive/melodic side combined the artists have some exciting music coming your way. Flight Of Icarus is perfect for the dancefloor, its a solid builder with stunning melodic motifs that evolve over time combined with a deep stab riff and groovy percussion. Daedalus is another solid builder from the guys that doesnt slow you down...evolving percussion and synth lines accompanied by more melodic motifs and stabs..the progression is really nice and sets the mood of the track nicely.
