Legacy
Through their music, Goodie Mob has been able to establish a legacy as pioneers of conscious southern hip hop. Their style has been described as a mix of gospel music and social consciousness that separates itself from many other southern rap acts. They are also credited for helping introduce OutKast to the mainstream audience with their single ""Black Ice"" which featured both groups. Goodie Mob's influence can be seen today in the work of many younger southern rappers who have adopted their style.
