Grupo Samuray is a Mexican music band from Guanajuato, Mexico. The band was formed by four talented musicians who share a passion for traditional Mexican folk, ranchera and cumbia music. Alejandro Avila (27), Hector Parra (28), José Antonio Ortega (29) and Cristian Avila (25) are the four members of Grupo Samuray. They started performing together in 2011 and since then they have been touring around Mexico and playing in festivals all over the country.

Grupo Samuray's music can be considered as a blend of ranchera and cumbia rhythms mixed with traditional Mexican melodies. Their songs are mostly about love, heartbreak, nostalgia and celebrations. Some of their most popular songs include “Viva la Fiesta”, “Mi Novia y Mi Pueblo” and “Una Vez Más”.
