Early Life
Tien was born in Hsinchu County, Taiwan on 30 March 1983. She graduated from Hsinchu County Chubei Elementary School, Hsinchu County Zhubei Junior High School, and Hsinchu County Zhudong Senior High School. She then attended Fu Jen Catholic University with a major in Advertising.
Career
Tien debuted in 2000 as a member of S.H.E alongside Ella Chen and Selina Jen. Following the girl group's success, she launched her solo career with her debut album To Hebe in 2009. The album was a commercial success and won her an Asia Pacific International Top 20 Gold Medal Award for Best Female Singer at the Asia Pacific International Top 20 Music Festival.
