Who is Jaheim?
Jaheim is an American R&B singer and songwriter who has been making music since the early 2000s. Born Jaheim Hoagland in 1978 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, he was heavily influenced by his father's love of soul, funk and jazz music. His career began when he was signed to Divine Mill Records in 2001. He released his debut album Ghetto Love that year, which spawned the hit single ""Could It Be."" His follow-up effort Still Ghetto (2002) spawned the hit singles ""Put That Woman First"" and ""Fabulous.""
Music Career
In 2003 he released his third album titled Ghetto Classics, which spawned the hit single ""Ain't Leavin Without You."" The success of this album earned him a Grammy nomination. In 2006 he released his fourth album The Makings of a Man. This album featured the hit single ""Finding My Way Back"" as well as collaborations with Next, Musiq Soulchild, and Blaque. His fifth and most recent studio album Appreciation Day was released in 2013. It featured the singles ""Age Ain't a Factor"" and ""Amen"".
