Jessica Rose James Decker (born April 12, 1988) is an American country pop singer-songwriter and reality television personality who is signed to Epic Records Nashville. She has released three studio albums: Jessie James (2009), Southern Girl City Lights (2014), and Gold (2017). Her most successful singles are “Wanted”, “Boys in the Summer” and “Lights Down Low”. Decker was born April 12, 1988 in Vicenza, Italy. She is the daughter of Karen Parker, a former U.S. Air Force veteran, and Stephen Parker, a former NFL player for the New York Jets and Denver Broncos. She has two brothers, Robert and Steven Jr., who are both in the military. When she was young, her family moved from Italy to Belton, Texas where she attended high school. Career
While in high school, she recorded her debut album titled Jessie James which was released in 2009. The single “Wanted” became a top 40 hit in the US. She also released two other singles that same year; “My Cowboy” and “Gypsy Girl”. In 2010, she opened for artists such as Lady Antebellum, Jack Ingram and Jerrod Niemann on tour. Reality TV Career
In 2013, she starred in the E! reality series Eric & Jessie: Game On alongside her husband Eric Decker. The series documented their lives as they prepared for his move from the Denver Broncos to the New York Jets. The show ran for three seasons ending in September 2018. Singing Career
In 2014, she released her 2nd album Southern Girl City Lights which included the single “Boys in the Summer” which reached #20 on the US Country Charts. In 2017, she released her 3rd album Gold which included the single “Lights Down Low” which reached #20 on the US Country Charts. That same year she opened for Rascal Flatts on their Back To Us Tour. Decker married former NFL player Eric Decker in June 2013 and they have three children together; Vivianne Rose (born 2014), Eric Thomas Jr (born 2015) and Forrest Bradley (born 2016). She is also an advocate for adoption and has spoken out about her own adoption story.
