In 1996, she released her debut album titled 'Dare to Dream'. This album produced five Top 40 singles on the Billboard Country Music chart. It included her first chart topper 'Heads Carolina, Tails California'.

Her second album 'I'm Alright' was released in 1998 and it included four Top 10 hits. The lead single was a duet with Tim McGraw titled 'Bring On The Rain'. This album was certified 2x Platinum in the United States. In 2000, her third album 'Burn' was released and it produced three Top 10 singles including another chart topper 'That's The Way'.
