Kase.O, the Spanish Rapper & Producer

Kase.O is a Spanish rapper, producer and songwriter from Madrid, Spain. His real name is José Miguel Conejo Torres. Since 2000, Kase.O has been making music and producing records for some of the biggest names in hip-hop and rap in Spain. He has released several solo albums as well as collaborated with artists such as La Mala Rodríguez, Shotta and Xhelazz. His lyrics are often political in nature, focusing on social issues affecting Spain and the world at large. Kase.O is known for his intense live performances, which have earned him a dedicated fanbase throughout Spain and abroad. In addition to his solo career, Kase.O is also an active member of the group Orquesta Del Viento Callejero (OVC) and a part of the crew La Insurgencia Urbana (LIU).

Kase.O's Music Career

Kase.O began his career in 2000 when he founded his own record label called Kase 6 Records. Since then, he has released several solo albums such as “Los Problemas de la Paz” (2002) and “El Círculo Perfecto” (2006). His most successful album to date is “El Lado Oscuro del Corazón” (2010), which was certified gold in Spain and spawned the hit single “Mentiras”. He has also collaborated with other artists including La Mala Rodríguez, Shotta and Xhelazz on various projects.

Awards & Recognition

Kase.O has received numerous awards throughout his career, including the Premios de la Música for Best Rap/Hip Hop Album for “El Lado Oscuro del Corazón” (2010) and Best Music Video for “Mentiras” (2011). He was also nominated for Best Male Artist at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2011. Kase.O has been praised by critics for his unique style of rap and storytelling ability.
