Kat Von D, born Katherine von Drachenberg, is an American singer-songwriter, author, and television personality. She first gained recognition in the early 2000s for her work as a featured artist on several albums by the industrial metal band Marilyn Manson. She then began releasing her own solo music and building a career as a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. Von D has released three full-length studio albums: “Love is Not a Victory March” (2004), “Santa Sangre” (2009), and “Rite of Passage” (2018).
Career Highlights
In 2012, Von D won the Latin Grammy Award for Best Rock Vocal Album for “Santa Sangre”. She has also collaborated with other artists including Slash and Motörhead. In addition to music, Von D has had a successful career as a television personality.
