Latto is an aspiring female rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. Young, confident, and ambitious, the female rapper took control of her career as an independent artist in 2016 after appearing in the first season of "The Rap Game" The series works with unsigned artists, putting them through various challenges to compete with one another. Latto took the title and was offered a deal with Jermaine Dupri but decided to go as an independent artist. Early Years Her real name is Alyssa Michelle Stephens. She is of mixed-race with a white mother & black father. From aged ten, the confident youngster was rapping and writing her lyrics. Her father believed in her artistry and went all out to promote his daughter. After performing at various gigs and uploading her tracks on social media, she was noticed by the show's producers, the rap game. Career After Latto won the show, her career took off; the ambitious rapper worked hard to record songs and released two mixtapes over the next couple of years. By 2018 she had acquired a manager Brandon Farmer who had known Latto since she was a youngster. After releasing her second mixtape in 2019, one of the tracks, "Bitch From da Souf" helped catapult her career further. By 2020, she signed a contract with RCA records. Since then, the artist has been working on new material and starred in Cardi B and Megan thee Stallion's "WAP" video.
