Early Life and Career Beginnings
Green was born in Detroit in 1987. He began producing hip-hop instrumentals at the age of 16 using FL Studio. After graduating high school, Green attended Northwestern University to study finance but dropped out after two years. He then moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he continued producing music. It was here that he met fellow producer and mentor Polow Da Don who helped him hone his craft and eventually land a record deal with Universal Music Group.
Rise to Fame
In 2009, Maejor Ali released his debut single, ""Bust Your Windows"", which featured R&B singer Jeremih. The song was a success, reaching the top ten on the US R&B chart. The following year, he released his debut EP, ""Maejorization"", which featured collaborations with artists such as Justin Bieber and Ciara.
