Massari is the stage name of Sari Abboud, a Canadian R&B/Pop singer and songwriter of Lebanese descent. Born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1983, Massari moved to Canada with his family at the age of four.
Early Career
Massari began his musical career in 2005 with his first single “Smile For Me”. The song became a hit in Canada and put him on the map as one of the country’s most promising new artists. His debut album, “Massari” was released in 2006 and featured the hit single “Be Easy”. The album went on to be certified gold in Canada.
Breakthrough Success
In 2007, Massari released “Real Love” featuring fellow Canadian artist Belly. The song was a major success in Canada and peaked at number 10 on the Canadian Hot 100 chart. He followed up with his second album, “Forever Massari” in 2008 which featured tracks like “Rush The Floor”, “Dangerous” and “Begging For More”.
Recent Work
After taking a few years off from recording music, Massari returned in 2012 with his third album, “So Long” which featured the singles “So Long” and “Number One”.
