Mickey J. Meyer is an Indian music composer and lyricist hailing from Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh. He is most well-known for his work in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi language films. He has composed a variety of music genres such as folk, classical and jazz, as well as more modern genres like EDM and hip hop.
Early Life
Mikkilineni Madhavarao was born on October 25th 1983 in Hyderabad, India. His father was a classical vocalist and his mother was a playback singer. From a young age, he was exposed to classical music and was taught to play the piano by his father. He learned the basics of playing guitar from his elder brother.
Career
Mickey started his career as a playback singer at the age of fourteen for a Telugu movie called 'Parvathamma'. He then began composing background score for some low-budget movies in 2002. In 2004, he made his debut as a music director with the Telugu movie 'Aithe'. The movie went on to become a huge success and Mickey went on to compose for many popular movies like 'Bommarillu', 'Premikudu' and 'Happy Days'. He also composed the background score for several blockbuster Telugu films like 'Munna', 'Gabbar Singh' and 'Attarintiki Daredi'. As of 2021, Mickey has composed music for more than 50 movies.

Mickey has collaborated with many prominent music directors in India including Ilaiyaraaja, Manisharma and Anirudh Ravichander. He also collaborated with American singer-songwriter Akon for the song 'Chammak Challo' from the movie 'Ra One'.
