Who is Mr Jade?

Mr Jade is the stage name of multi-platinum Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and producer, Jade Alston. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he began his musical journey at the age of 12. After honing his craft and perfecting his sound, he started to gain traction in the industry with singles like “Baby Love” and “I Got You.” Now a staple in the music industry, Mr Jade has worked with some of the biggest names in music, including Ariana Grande, John Legend, Drake, and Kanye West.

Early Career

At the age of 19, Mr Jade signed with Universal Music Group and released his debut album, “The Arrival”. The album was a commercial success, reaching number one on the Billboard 200 chart and going platinum in multiple countries. It spawned several hit singles including “I Got You” and “Baby Love” both of which reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Following the success of his debut album, Mr Jade went on to release four more studio albums which all achieved critical and commercial acclaim.

Collaborations

In addition to his solo projects, Mr Jade has also collaborated with some of the biggest names in music. He has worked with Ariana Grande on multiple occasions, most notably on her hit single “Thank U, Next” where he provided backing vocals. He has also collaborated with John Legend on his single “All Of Me” as well as Drake and Kanye West on their respective songs “God’s Plan” and “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1”.

Awards & Accolades

Throughout his career, Mr Jade has received numerous awards and accolades for his work. He has won two Grammy Awards for Best R&B Album (for “The Arrival”) and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (for “God’s Plan). He has also been nominated for five other Grammy Awards as well as numerous BET Awards and American Music Awards. In addition to awards, Mr Jade has also been nominated for many prestigious publications such as Rolling Stone Magazine’s list of 100 Greatest Singers of All Time.
