Early Life and Career

Musicologo was born in Santo Domingo in 1989. He was introduced to music at an early age through his father’s love of Latin music. He began honing his skills as a musician by performing cover songs at local festivals and clubs. In 2009, he released his first official single, “El Que Sabe Sabe” which quickly gained traction on local radio stations.

Breakthrough Success

In 2012, Musicologo was invited to join the production team at J&N Records, one of the leading Latin record labels in the Dominican Republic. This opened up opportunities for him to collaborate with some of the biggest names in Latin music such as J Balvin, Bad Bunny, and Jhay Cortez. His most successful collaboration to date is with J Balvin on “Reggaeton Lento” which has over 500 million views on YouTube.
