Pezet is a Polish rapper and music producer from Warsaw. Born Jakub Małecki on October 24th 1989, he is one of the most influential figures in Polish hip-hop. Pezet started producing beats at the age of 16 and released his first solo album “Pezet Muzyka Emocjonalna” in 2007. Since then he has gone on to release 5 additional albums, multiple mixtapes and collaborate with some of the biggest names in the industry.
Early Life
Pezet was born and raised in the Praga district of Warsaw. His father was a musician who first introduced him to hip-hop culture. He began producing beats at the age of 16 and soon after formed a crew called Obywatel MC which included fellow rappers Piotr Żyła, and Kuba Knap. The trio quickly gained notoriety throughout Poland and released 2 albums together.
Solo Career
In 2007 Pezet released his first solo album “Pezet Muzyka Emocjonalna” which went on to become his highest selling album to date. The following year he released “Pezet Co Jest Grane?” and quickly established himself as one of the most popular rappers in Poland. Since then he has gone on to collaborate with some of the biggest names in the industry such as Quebonafide, Beteo and Ten Typ Mes.
