Scary Pockets is a funky-jazz band based in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 2014 by John Mietus, Jacob Mann, Ricky Reiner, and Ivan Jackson, the band has become one of the most sought after musical groups in the area due to their unique sound. They combine jazz and funk elements with modern production techniques to create an infectious sound that can't be found anywhere else.

History

The four founding members of Scary Pockets were all born and raised in Los Angeles. They all had a passion for music and wanted to create something that was truly unique. After playing together for a few years, they formed Scary Pockets in 2014 and began performing at local venues.
