Who is SHAUN (숀)?

SHAUN (숀), born Yoon San Ha, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and producer. He is signed with the hip-hop label AOMG. SHAUN made his debut in 2018 with his solo album Take with the single, “Way Back Home”. Since his debut, he has released several singles and has featured in songs with other artists including Dean, Gray, and Crush.

Early Life and Career

SHAUN was born on June 6, 1995 in Seoul, South Korea. He first gained recognition for winning the fourth season of the show Superstar K in 2014. After winning the show, he released his first studio album in 2015 titled Page 0. In 2016 he released his second studio album Take Off, which featured the singles “On My Way” and “It’s Okay”. He released two more albums in 2017, one of which was a collaboration with rapper Giriboy and another with rapper Basick.

Achievements

Since his debut, SHAUN has been nominated for several awards including Best New Male Artist at the 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards and Best New Artist at the 2019 Seoul Music Awards. He also won Best Male Vocal Performance at the 2019 Gaon Chart Music Awards. He has also been featured on several tracks by other artists including GRAY’s “Good” and Dean’s “Instagram”.
