Sheena Easton is a Scottish singer-songwriter born on April 27, 1959. Growing up in Glasgow, she had a passion for music from an early age and her first single “Modern Girl” was released in 1980. Her career skyrocketed with the release of her hit single “9 to 5” and her first album Take My Time. From then on she released a string of successful albums and singles. She has collaborated with many different artists including Prince, Eurythmics, and Kenny Rogers. She also starred in the musical Man of La Mancha and took part in the UK TV talent show Just the Two of Us. Sheena is still active today, performing live shows and releasing new music.

Throughout her career, Sheena has achieved numerous awards and accolades. In 1981 she won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist, as well as two Brit Awards for Best British Female Artist and Best British Single for her song “9 To 5”.
