The band's line-up consists of frontman Wayne Static, Tony Campos on bass, Ken Jay on drums and Koichi Fukuda on guitar. Static-X's sound is a blend of industrial metal, nu metal and groove metal. They have released four studio albums with their most successful being 2001's Platinum certified album ""Machine"".
Career
Static-X released their debut album 'Wisconsin Death Trip' in 1999. The single ""Push It"" reached number one on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and number nine on the Modern Rock Tracks chart. The album was certified Platinum in the US and eventually sold over 1.3 million copies worldwide. Static-X released their second album 'Machine' in 2001. It features the singles ""Cold"" and ""The Only"", which both reached the top ten of the MTV2 chart. The album was certified Gold in the US and eventually sold over one million copies worldwide.
