Founded by Howlin’ Pelle Almqvist (Niklas Almqvist) and Vigilante Carlstroem, the band currently consists of Pelle Almqvist (vocals), Vigilante Carlstroem (guitar), Chris Dangerous (drums), Dr. Matt Destruction (bass) and Mikael Karlsson (keyboard).
Hives Discography
The Hives first EP Barely Legal was released in 1997. Their debut album Veni Vidi Vicious released in 2000 was met with critical acclaim and spawned their most successful single Hate to Say I Told You So which reached No. 7 on the UK Singles Chart. The Hives have released four more studio albums since then – Tyrannosaurus Hives (2004), The Black and White Album (2007), Lex Hives (2012) and their most recent album entitled Go Right Ahead released in 2012.
