Who are The Struts?

The Struts are an English rock band from Derby, Derbyshire that formed in 2012. The group consists of lead vocalist Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott and drummer Gethin Davies. They released their debut album Everybody Wants in July 2014. They achieved mainstream success with their single ""Could Have Been Me"" from their second album Everybody Wants in 2016. The band has since performed with many well-known artists including Robbie Williams, Tom Morello and Aerosmith.

Early Career

The Struts began their career with the release of their debut EP Kiss This in 2012. It was met with critical acclaim and led to the band being signed to Universal Music. Their debut album Everybody Wants was released in 2014 and was met with positive reviews from critics. The album spawned several singles including ""Put Your Money On Me"", ""Could Have Been Me"" and ""Where Did She Go"".

Mainstream Success

The Struts achieved mainstream success with their single ""Could Have Been Me"" from their second album Everybody Wants in 2016. The song peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart and was certified Gold by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). The band has since performed with many well-known artists including Robbie Williams, Tom Morello and Aerosmith.

Recent Activity

In 2019, the band released their third studio album Young&Dangerous which was met with positive reviews. It spawned the singles ""Bulletproof Baby"", ""Primadonna Like Me"" and ""Body Talks"". The album peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart and was certified Silver by the BPI. Since then, the band has been touring extensively throughout Europe and the United States. They have also been featured on various TV shows including Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
