Uzielito Mix is a Mexican singer, songwriter, and producer who has become one of the most popular Latin music artists in Mexico. Born Carlos Uziel Pérez Romo in 1966, he began singing professionally at the age of 18. His powerful voice and extensive repertoire have earned him numerous awards throughout his career.
Early Career
Uzielito Mix's career began when he won a contest sponsored by Televisa to find new talent for their variety show. He released his first single, “Mi Amor Eterno”, in 1985. It was an instant hit and it led to his first album release “Canta Como Nadie” in 1986. The album featured covers of classic Mexican songs as well as original compositions.
Career Success
In 1990, Uzielito Mix released his second album, “Amor Eterno”. This album proved to be even more successful than his debut and it launched him into mainstream success in Mexico. He followed this up with several more albums throughout the 1990s including “No Te Olvides De Mi”, “Mis Canciones de Amor”, and “Un Hombre de Corazón”.
