Vitaa (born Vitaa Célya on April 23rd, 1978) is a French singer, songwriter and actress. She was born in La Courneuve in the French region of Seine-Saint-Denis. She studied at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Musique et Danse de Paris (CRR) before entering a prestigious music school in Paris. At the age of 17, she started writing her own songs.
Vitaa's Career
In 2001, she signed a record deal with EMI Music France. The same year she made her debut with the single ""Je te le donne"" which was included on the soundtrack for the film ""Taxi 2"". This was followed by two more singles in 2002; ""Un Ange"" and ""Celle Que Je Vois"". Her debut album ""Vitaa"" was released in 2004, featuring the hit single ""Ça les dérange"". The album also spawned two other successful singles; ""Je te pardonne"" and ""A fleur de toi"".
Collaborations
Vitaa has collaborated with many other artists throughout her career including Maitre Gims, Soprano and Dadju.
