Vundabar - Indie Rock Band From Boston

Vundabar is an indie rock band from Boston, Massachusetts. Formed in 2011, the band consists of Brandon Hagen (vocals & guitar), Drew McDonald (bass & vocals) and Zack Abramo (drums & vocals). Over the course of their career, Vundabar has released three full-length studio albums as well as multiple EPs.

Early Days

Vundabar released their first EP, 'Antics', in 2012. It was recorded at Q Division Studios and featured both live and studio recordings of the band's mix of garage rock and post punk tunes. The EP was followed by their debut studio album 'Antics' in 2013. The album was recorded at The Bridge Sound & Stage in Cambridge, MA.

Alizarine & Smell Smoke

In 2015 the band released their second album, 'Alizarine'. It was recorded at The Bridge Sound & Stage in Cambridge with John Goodmanson (Death Cab for Cutie, Sleater-Kinney). The album featured a more sophisticated sound than it's predecessor as well as more complex arrangements. In 2017 Vundabar released their third album 'Smell Smoke'. The album was also recorded at The Bridge Sound & Stage with John Goodmanson producing. The album featured a mix of styles ranging from garage rock to power pop.

In addition to releasing studio albums, Vundabar has extensively toured throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. They have shared the stage with bands such as Titus Andronicus, Speedy Ortiz and Parquet Courts.
