Wet Wet Wet is a multi-platinum selling British pop band, formed in Clydebank, Scotland in 1982. The group consists of Marti Pellow (vocals), Tommy Cunningham (drums, percussion and vocals), Graeme Clark (bass guitar and vocals) and Neil Mitchell (keyboard and vocals).
The band achieved their first number one single in 1994 with the cover of The Troggs' classic 'Love is All Around', which was famously featured in the film Four Weddings and a Funeral. This was followed by further successes including 'Goodnight Girl', 'Angel Eyes', and 'Julia Says'.
In addition to their own hits, the band has collaborated with big names such as Paul McCartney, Tina Turner and Lulu. They have also provided backing vocals to a number of albums by other artists. The band have gone on to sell over 15 million records worldwide and won multiple awards throughout their career.
In 2011 the band released an album entitled 'The Greatest Hits' which featured all of their biggest hits as well as some new material. This album marked the first time that all four original members had recorded together since 1997. In 2014 the band reunited for a tour across Europe and performed some of their greatest hits.
As of 2019, the members of Wet Wet Wet are all 54-57 years old. They continue to be active in music and have written several new songs together since their reunion.>
