Who Is Wrabel?

Wrabel is an American pop singer, songwriter, and recording artist from Los Angeles, California. He has released several singles and EP's and is best known for his powerful lyrics and catchy hooks. He has collaborated with P!nk, Marshmello, and Lauv on songs that have been featured on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Early Life

Wrabel was born in 1987 as Stephen Wrabel. He grew up in Chicago and attended Columbia College to study music business. He moved to Los Angeles in 2009 to pursue a career in music.

Career

Wrabel began his career by releasing his first EP in 2012 titled “The Village”. The EP featured the song “Sideways” which was used in an advertisement for Volvo. In 2014, he signed with Epic Records. That same year he released his second EP titled “Dance Like You’re Dead”. In 2015, he wrote the song “11 Blocks” which was featured on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song was also featured on the soundtrack for the movie “Me Before You”. The following year, Wrabel released his third EP titled “Kite Like A Bird” which included the single “Flies In The Honey” which was also featured on the Hot 100 chart. In 2017, Wrabel released his fourth EP titled “Dreaming of Babylon” which included the single “Bloodstain” which was featured on the Hot 100 chart as well. In 2018, Wrabel released his fifth EP titled “We Could Be Beautiful” which featured the single “The Village” which was also featured on the Hot 100 chart.

He has also been nominated for several Billboard Music Awards including Top Dance/Electronic Song for Bloodstain and Top Dance/Electronic Album for We Could Be Beautiful.

Personal Life

Wrabel currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two children. He continues to write music, perform live shows, and collaborate with other artists.
