Originally named Nicholas Alexander Simmons, he was born in Birmingham, Alabama, where he lived with his mother, aunt, and cousins. His interest in music began with X Box 360; playing "Grand Theft Auto" live, he would interact with kids online from the California Bay Area. As a result, he created a YouTube channel named "Cap God 1," together with friends, they recorded live games; the channel went on to gain thousands of subscribers. Nahmir then turned to "Rock Band," a game where users create beats. Adding freestyle & lyrics to the track, he uploaded songs to his personal YouTube channel; to date, the rapper has 850k. Career Young Boss niggas was a music collective he formed with the acronym of "YBN." In 2015 he uploaded his first track, "Hood Mentality." He followed with his debut mixtape, "Believe in The Glo." "Rubbin Off the Paint" was his 2017 single, which he uploaded to "World star Hip-Hop's channel"; the song blew up and rapidly entered the Billboard Charts, it reached number 79 on the hot 100. After moving to California, Cordae, a rapper from Maryland, joined the collective, and the crew released "YBN the mixtape" through Atlantic Records. It featured various artists such as Gucci Mane and Chris Brown. After embarking on a European tour, the trio eventually went their separate ways. His single "Opp Stoppa" blew up on Tik-Tok in 2020; the single was from his upcoming 2021 album "Visonland" the 20-track album featured artists such as Ty Dollar $ign, 21 Savage, G Easy & others.
