Biography
Alexandre J. Maurer is a composer, producer and sound designer from the french part of Switzerland based in Zurich with a strong background in jazz drumming, sound design and experimental electronic music. His music illustrate a whole world between, acoustic instruments, digital glitch, sound design and warm analog synth. His many different skills and understanding for very diverse music genre is leading himself to explore a multiple range of contemporary art of sound. Working on different projects at the same time such as scores, theatre/performance, music productions, playing the drums and teaching, the busy man challenge himself everyday by giving his best in every collaborations. As a composer and music producer I've been working for the swiss national TV (SRF), EMI, different art directors, choregraphs, musicians from all around the world and had the honour to win a prize for a remix of the Deutsche Symphonie Orchester and that was published by Sony Classical.
