BALAM is a musician, producer, DJ and LIVE act from Buenos Aires, Argentina, focusing in electronic music and world music, combining modular and analog synthesizers with real and weird percussion sounds creating a unique atmosphere making every track an acid and psychedelic voyage through Latin-American nature and culture. -At the moment he had finish a new EP for MULTI CULTI including an exclusive sample pack, also a new ep in collab with his Chilean artist friend “Fernanda Arrau” for Pets Recordings and working in a new ep on VINYL for UK based label Earthly Meassures. -In 2021 he released the part 2 of his “CHANTS OF PACHAMAMA” EP both digital and VINYL including a remix from MATIAS AGUAYO through HARD FIST RECORDS (Fr.). Also a track for Sol Selectas was out on June 2021 and a new track on Japan Label “SABI/Hole and Holland”. -In 2020 he released Carnaval Acido through MULTI CULTI (Ca) for the CULTED006 only on VINYL including also tracks from Nicola Cruz, Asa Moto, among others, a remix for DJ T. on GET PHYSICAL MUSIC. Also the first part of “CHANTS OF PACHAMAMA” EP was out with Bufi remix through HARD FIST RECORDS (Fr.) In 2019 he released Lentombi for the recognized label MULTI CULTI (Ca) for the CULTED004 series only on vinyl. -Also in 2019 his track Yucatán, released by United Colors of Rythm (Sp) in 2018, was featured in Dekmantel and Resident Advisor official Spotify playlist as “one of the tracks that defined the sound of this year Dekmantel edition”. In September 2019 he made his first Europe and Israel tour, playing in Barcelona (Sp), Tel Aviv and Ashqelon (IL) as DJ and premiering his LIVE act at Hard Fist Records 11th Anniversary in Lyon, France. -In 2018 Balam released Chaman EP through French label Esthetique Records (Fr), digital & cassette, also Senderos de Selva EP through Playground Records (Sp), a track for the Take Away series through Calypso Records (Mx), a track through Hard Fist Records (Fr) and more remixes for labels like Innisfallen (Mx), Controlla (Mx), Nein (Uk), Play Pal (Sp) among others. -In July 2018 Balam played for the first time in USA in the prestigious radio from Brooklyn, New York “The Lot Radio” and in Samo Records Night at Jupiter Disco, Brooklyn, New York.
