ABOUT Daanyaal Jacobs, commonly known as Daano, is an Amapiano producer, self-taught pianist and Mixing Engineer. Born and raised in the city of Johannesburg, currently residing in the Westrand, Roodepoort. WHERE IT ALL STARTED At an early age of 6. Daano had a deep love and passion for music. He began playing rhythms with his hands on the dinner table at such a young age. Growing up he was heavily inspired by Smooth Soulful Jazz, Afro Tech, Deep House and the usual home bred South African House Music. He transitioned from a fanatic listener to a creator in 2018, and has blazed a trail for his music career ever since.
