From day one, the philosophy of Guy From Downstairs regarding the sound of electronic underground music has always been revolving around clear and simple ideas: staying fresh, adding a personal touch to the culture and undeniably rocking the dance floor. Based in Bucharest, he has been running the vinyl imprints GFD and QNQN for almost 5 years, while also actively releasing records on various labels such as Curtea Veche, Unic, The Other Side, Robsoul and many others. With a distinctive sound in the grooves, his productions are frequently included in the sets of well-established musical acts and has been remixed by distinguished artists such as Petre Inspirescu or Steve O'Sullivan. In parallel with perpetually crafting new sounds in the studio, Guy From Downstairs had the opportunity to express himself through his unique DJ act in clubs from his home country Romania and also made several notable appearances in top-notch clubs and festivals around Europe and USA.
