Jeff Mailfert is an indie folk artist who finds his inspiration in his travels. At the wheel of his orange combi, he roams around the wild nature and its great landscapes looking for freedom. Simplicity and authenticity are at the core of his songs: they are fed by his personal experiences and the people he meets. « I often use the landscapes to transmit my emotions ». This is the case in « Trecolpas » or « Grey Sky » for example, which talk about serenity and grief through the story of a lake and a cloudy sky. He takes his inspiration from artists like Paolo Nutini, Ben Howard, and Bon Iver and sings rich, sensitive, and sincere melodies in English. He is currently working on his first album (to be released in 2023).
