House music activist since 2007 when he started to organize parties in his hometown Strasbourg and became one of the resident DJs of the famous club in the East of France, Le Rafiot. He’s been also the co-host for two years of the weekly Souldancer radio show on RBS and he began to produce in 2009 with a laptop and a small modular. In 2016 he became one of the instigators of the MOoNDALA parties, and since 2018 host of the monthly MOoNDALA radio show on ODC Live. It’s only in august 2019 that we discover a part of his studio works with his first EP « Shaolin Skunk » on MoodyHouse Recordings, an hommage to his first influences back in 2k, where he fell in love with the house music at the age of 14 in Ibiza. Directly inspired by his experience behind the decks and his perception of the dancefloor, he concentrates in his productions his rich panel of influences and merge the differents vibes and energies to reveal a oneness. He worked through all this years in the studio with this unique goal, sharing the most faithfully possible his idealistic vision of the groove. For John Fritz, music is a spiritual thing, a love thing. Pushing the boundaries of styles in the perpetual quest of the essence of the grooves, he makes music with his heart and makes no concessions in the expression of his art.
