LA VOUIVRE offers a singular universe mixing guitar/bass/drums/organ (fuzz) and all that with texts in French sometimes sung, sometimes spoken, sometimes rapped. The music of LA VOUIVRE is on the edge of a precipice, it comes from the guts and throws itself in the face of its audience without ever denying anything of the true created universe. The music of LA VOUIVRE leaves no one indifferent, between poetic language, tormented feelings liveliness and control of the cadence. LA VOUIVRE released a first album, FRANK, in 2016 (recorded in Toulouse by Fabrice Lacourt and Mastered by David Bergère of Studio F.-Lab) and he wanted to present a "real object", in Mourad's own words, by producing a very beautiful three-part Digipack whose author/composer/performer will sign the aesthetic reflection himself. It was at this time that the latter decided never to present an opus of more than seven titles because, in his own words: “seven titles like the ones I'm trying to do, that's already quite dense. There are a lot of things already and the more it would be indigestible ”. The universe and the concept of LA VOUIVRE are there and a second album, EN APNEE, is recorded in 2018 (release in early 2019). On En Apnée, Mourad will decide to collaborate with two musicians, Frédéric Diana and Christophe Liares (collaboration which will only last for this opus) and signs a second album which, he had announced, will not have more than seven titles also recorded at Toulouse by Fabrice Lacourt, Laurent Houen and Florent Charles from Studios MySound. For the aesthetic signature of the "true object", LA VOUIVRE will collaborate with the Belgian designer Salomé Genés who, for the purposes of the project, will interview Mourad on his artistic project and what he wanted to say with En Apnée. This collaborative work will result in seven drawings, all drawn by Salomé Genés, each drawing illustrating a title from the album. The universe of LA VOUIVRE is there and the time for concerts has arrived. When Mourad is asked to define the music of LA VOUIVRE, he simply says that he “makes sounds and words”. In collaboration with two other bands (X-OR and YOUPI), LA VOUIVRE goes on stage in 2019 and 2020 for a series of concerts within a concept tour: no musical style to bring the three bands together on stage but sounds and words in French. The tour is called À SE TORDRE DE MOTS! LA VOUIVRE continues on its way, free, independent, and is already working on a third opus. He mentioned a collaboration with a renowned Beatboxer for the latter. Sur En Apnée, Mourad décidera de collaborer avec deux musiciens, Frédéric Diana et Christophe Liares (collaboration qui ne durera que pour cet opus) et signe un deuxième album qui, il l'avait annoncé, ne comptera pas plus de sept titres enregistrés également à Toulouse par Fabrice Lacourt, Laurent Houen et Florent Charles des Studios MySound. Pour la signature esthétique du « véritable objet », LA VOUIVRE va collaborer avec la dessinatrice belge Salomé Genés qui, pour les besoins du projet, interviewera Mourad sur son projet artistique et ce qu'il a voulu dire avec En Apnée. Ce travail collaboratif aboutira à sept dessins, tous dessinés par Salomé Genés, chaque dessin illustrant un titre de l'album. L'univers de LA VOUIVRE est bien là et le temps des concerts est arrivé. Quand on demande à Mourad de définir la musique de LA VOUIVRE, il dit simplement qu'il « fait des sons et des mots ». En collaboration avec deux autres formations ( X-OR et YOUPI), LA VOUIVRE monte sur scène en 2019 et en 2020 pour une série de concerts au sein d'une tournée concept : pas de style musical pour réunir les trois formations sur scène mais des sons et des mots en français. La tournée s'appelle À SE TORDRE DE MOTS ! LA VOUIVRE poursuit sa route, libre, indépendant, et travaille déjà sur un troisième opus. Il a évoqué une collaboration avec un Beatboxer de renom pour ce dernier. Nul doute que la musique et l'univers de LA VOUIVRE sont une véritable proposition artistique.
