Biography

Rayan Hamda Barhoumi, born September 24, 2001, in Nice, France, is a French actor, musician, and filmmaker. He is known professionally as Lytcheess. Barhoumi independently writes, directs, produces, and composes his artistic projects, which often combine urban thriller narratives and experimental electronic music. He is the creator, lead actor, composer, and producer of Jackrabbit, an independent conceptual thriller series exploring themes of trauma, justice, and redemption. The series follows a former soldier turned cyber-investigator and draws inspiration from vigilante characters portrayed by actors such as Jon Bernthal and Charlie Cox. As Lytcheess, Barhoumi produces music blending dark techno, phonk, and experimental electronic styles, composing all original works using FL Studio. His debut album, Wavu Sorya, and the Jackrabbit soundtrack are among his notable works. He releases music through his own label, Niel Majedri. Outside of his artistic career, Barhoumi practices archery and is a member of the French Archery Federation (FFTA). He studies open-source intelligence to develop complex characters with military precision. He is also an avid gamer and Twitch streamer, often engaging with competitive games such as League of Legends, Dead by Daylight, and Tekken 8. Barhoumi’s pseudonym, Lytcheess, is derived from the lychee fruit and his interest in surreal sound design. He has expressed aspirations to act in a Marvel film.
