At the age of 15, he was recognized for his brilliance & talents & was invited to tour with Nigerian singer Nico Mbarga band. Marcel & Nico band toured the African continent together. At 16, Marcel went to Europe where he continued performing & writing songs for other artists. Marcel's most popular song was "Ndolo L'Amour" & was made famous by Cameroonian artist Pierre De Moussy. Marcel's first solo album was released in 1984.
