Biography

Like his idol, the filmmaker George Lucas, who created a universe borrowing from the myths and cultures of several countries, he considers himself to be a musician of synthesis, drawing his inspiration from greats compsers of classicals music, traditional Armenian music, jazz, contemporary music, Hollywood film music and Asian music. His music has been performed by great soloists and conductors such as Lionel Bringuier, Julien Bénichou, Philippe Bender, Guy Condette, the cellist Emmanuelle Bertrand, Vincent Beer-Demander and groups such as the Mid Atlantic Symphony (USA), the Marseille Philharmonic Orchestra, the Regional Orchestra of Cannes, the Czech National Orchestra of Prague, the Pythéas Ensemble, the Aléthéa Quartet, the Hymnis Choir. Passionate about arrangements, he orchestrated songs of the most famous Portuguese group Xutos y Pontapes for their 40 years of career at the Altice Arena with the Portuguese Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Osvaldo Ferreira. First prize in composition in the class of Georges Boeuf at the Marseille Conservatory, he is also a pianist who won in 1997 the First Prize as well as the Audience Prize at the Henri Sauguet International Chamber Music Competition in Martigues, "His piano playing has been described as fiery and exceptional" (La Provence), "with an infinite range of nuances" (Benito Pellegrin), "what a beautiful pianistic work on the colour and harmonic thread of Schumann, respecting the letter and spirit of the score" (Zibeline), "a great technique, emotion, passion and conviction" ( La Provence).
