PROFILE, CAREER PURSUIT, FAST-RISING ARTIST, VICTOR OGUNTOYINBO, ALSO KNOWN AS POPTYOFV. Substantially, a new Nigerian fast-rising hip-hop, Afrobeat artist and Distribution Specialist, Victor Oguntoyinbo, also known as Poptyofv, is another great talent expected to hit stardom soon. Poptyofv was born and raised in Ekiti State in a Christian family, Mr. & Mrs. Oguntoyinbo. He was among the top talented kids within the family as he was growing up. The amazing product of a polygamous home was born on August 31, 1992. He started his elementary education at C.A.C Primary School Oke Ayo, Usi, Ekiti State. There, Poptyofv achieved his FLSC in 2005-2006 and then moved to Ondo State, where he began his secondary education at Ilara-Mokin, Community Comprehensive High School. Later, he moved permanently to Akure, where he completed his secondary education at Adun Community Comprehensive High School, Ita-Oniyan, Ondo Road, Akure, in 2011. In 2014, he dropped out from Crown Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, where he was studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering but has plans to further his education soon. Poptyofv started his music career during his secondary school days in 2009, participating in street competitions and taking stage performances seriously as a rapper and singer. His first two singles titled 'Elevate' and 'Shaku Shaku' were released in 2018, identifying him as a fast-rising artist with prominent potential. In 2020, Poptyofv released his first EP, containing 9 tracks, titled 'The Genesis,' which was released on August 31, 2020, and is currently gaining livestream and airplay on social media platforms and radio stations. The fast-rising artist is yet to be signed under a record label but has strong faith in God and himself that he will be heard greatly soon. He loves to appear simple during stage performances. What matters to him is delivering quality rap songs and vibes. He prefers nice jeans and simple tops with a sensible necklace, regardless of the situations that surround him.
